Possibly Poetry Or Short Story

Hello Everyone this is new to the website I’m going to be sharing some of my work to see if I get a fan base or some sorts. Today I’m sharing but this is also a Word Prompt today. The poems I’m sharing is called “Old Age Is……” You can make many poems with the name “Old Age Is……” and just number them off with Part #1, Part#2, Part#3 and so forth. Do try and come up with your own “Old Age Is…..” Describe what Old Age means to you. Here”s a couple of my WIPS. 🙂

Old Age Is…1

Old age is a warm bowl of Cream of wheat.

Gumming the thick substance

Wondering how did I get this way.

I took care of myself, now I’m using

A walker racing down the nursing home

halls to the restroom.

I should have had kids

 I wouldn’t even be here

Lonely the act of being alone,

hurts me deep inside.

I guess family didn’t love me enough

 To take me in.

Watching my spouse, friends

and family all pass away

makes me ask, did God forget about me?

I want to go home too.

Each morning I wake up and say Damn!

He didn’t beam me up through the night.

If these C.N.A.’s gives me a chance

I just might O.D.

No one will miss me.

No one listens to me

I’m always wrong

My life has been prolonged

Old is a cold bowl of cream of wheat

Cold as my body one Sunday morning

Sitting on a tray next to my bed as a

Robin sings my eulogy on my window pane.

What did my family and I have to gain

All I know that my heart is in no pain.

Old Age is …2

I have lost my hair and teeth

gumming a bowl of Cream of Wheat

I tell the nurses to heat up

my prune juice because it’s the only thing

I get sweet.

Range of Motion exercises

Beach balls galore

I tell the nurse to lock my wheelchair in

Or that ish would just let me hit the floor.

B-I-N-G-O ! Bingo I scream.

My winnings I redeem

Just a candy bar

Cookies and Cream

I lost everyone I love

Don’t pity me

Im the only one left

I’m to stubborn to leave

All I have is myself.

Possibly Poetry Or Short Story Day #4

Do enjoy your Valentines Day HeartBeats. Don’t judge me too harsh on this WIP. Some is filler, some is based on my heart this year, since I have no Valentine. # Where is the Love? LOL 🙂 Enjoy my friends.

Lovers Bliss

The two of us make one

Our love can’t be undone

Pyro maniac with this love

Fireworks going off up above

Thicker than water,

 it can’t put us out

Stuck like glue

We can not  do without

The warmth and heat

When our bodies near

Yearning for when our lips meet

Diving in with no fear

Nothing can keep us away

From our hearts, our souls colliding

In a magnificent way

The unwanteds subsiding

Tearing past the reasons  that kept us apart

I’ve forgiven you from when you broke my heart.

Maybe I broke yours first at the start

Life lessons paint a picture,

Abstract Art.

How I still love you dear.

Your heart still has a sign up.

Woman  Beware

Still dont stop me

Love attempt

Your still stand offish

No hug, handshake limp

The more I love me

I want to share,

love you more

I know you borderline hate me

I don’t care.

The love I have for you

I have galore.

You’ll come around

to this song

you have heard this sound before.

I’ll get use to not having you near.

Go about life

Instilled fear

Of being alone

The rest of my days

Depressed  by lonely side

Let me count the ways

I can not hide

This fifth that I own?

Drowning my feelings

I do not condone

I know how this will pan out

Psychic Love Child  I was stoned

This Love is Misery

Why won’t you answer your phone

We would be together maybe married

if I hadn’t made the first diss.

Holding grudges

Trying to wipe away past smudges

Yearning for Lovers Bliss.

Top of the morning my friends. This poem has a ” ish” word in it. Its not too harsh. *So don’t show this to kids under 19. * But I just don’t want to incite kids to curse. I hope you enjoy the Poem. It’s Called ” No Demon” Do Enjoy. Always Have Fun 🙂

No Demon

Under spiritual attack

Doing rituals never seen

I don’t want you back

Praying GOD wash me clean

No Demon can carry me

I’m heavy in gifts

My happiness and bliss

Will make a fist

To dismiss the b***

Like Lent is to Fish

Good times I reminisce

Tag team while you take turns

Inciting me

Hoping my soul burns

No Power enough to break me

Take notes

This is what the Demons learn

Praying GOD don’t forsake me

Many mansions is where I want to be

This is proof he’ll never leave me.

Sometimes I forget,

But he always reminds me

Strength of a zillion militia

Always know GOD got cha

And there’s no Demon

In God’s Open Season for heathens

No Demon

GOD is waiting on you to give him a reason

Demon

Butterflies In The Skies🦋☀️🌈

As night becomes day

The butterflies wake up

They flutter away

The morning dew

All together as a crew

One let loose as the wind blew

Filling the sky,like smoke

Can barely see through

On a mission

Only GOD knows what

Nature is a kitchen

Careful because their lifespan cut

Have to mate

Romance short and thick

No time for sweet nothings in the ear

In due time they fall out the sky

Disappear

Back to the drawing board in the heavens

Keeping their wings

They only get seven

Lucky are the days

they grace this place here

Beautiful is the view

Powerful is the cycle

It makes life and death so clear.

Sugarfree🍭🍬🍭

No sugar for the Diabetic in me

Locked up only sugar could set me free

Working out a little at a time seem to work slowly

Trying to work this fat off so I don’t look like a rolly poley

Poking fingers, drawing blood didn’t know it had a number

Glad it does because I could be in an eternal slumber

Organs please don’t fail, too young to die now

Sugar crystalized don’t care who it cuts down

Sitting here bloated feeling like a cow.

If I die before my mom, she’s gonna clown.

Sugarfree everything, can I get sugar free from a bee?

If I could it would be no measuring, sugar just for me.

I’ll pay any fee.

Just to get something sweet

Good morning, Three poems today. I hope ya’ll enjoy. TTYL Warriors, lovies and Friends 💓 write on✌🏽

Layers Of Many

Peel me like a potato

See the white meaty flesh

In its purest form.

Dice it up in pieces of me

To feed the masses

Peel me like a lemon

To get closer it may hurt

If you’re cut.

Pucker up

Sour is the heart from which

My life fell apart.

Peel me like a banana

Sweet as sugar

Feeling stronger than

The Santa Ana winds.

Blow me away

Catch me

So that i can stay

Peel me like a onion

Layers to make you cry

Like you got shot with a gun

Cutting aint no fun

I don’t want none

I want to see the sun.

Tears like rain

Drops like pain

Feeding produce veins

‘Until it’s time to be slain

Feed the needy

Don’t be greedy

Layers of you and me

Wil make a masterpiece

Pounds Down

It takes leaps and bounds to lose the pounds

It’s not too late to lose the weight

Raw veggies here and there

Drinking water everywhere

See my gallon jug?

Do you even care?

Weigh me once weigh me twice

Two pounds down a day would be nice

Have to document

Don’t know what to say

A happy face will suffice.

Stay on track

Exercise more

Stretch standing up

It’s hard to get my big butt off the floor

Take a walk

Don’t go alone

Cut back on watching t.v. and talking on the phone

Eating pizza pies and cookies I don’t condone.

Stomach smaller

Cant eat alot

Trying to get my stomach flatter

This summer Imma be H.O.T.

Slim down

Get up

Surgery is how I pressed my luck

Weight fly by

Don’t want to die

Life changed through my eyes

Pounds down?

 That’s why.

Hurricane

Water , the liquid to our existence

Wind blowing hard and fast

It’s very persistent

Flooding everything, everywhere

Including my heart

All things fall apart

Right from the very start.

Mother of the universe

Please cut a check

Reimburse what’s lost

Your heavy winds gave my home a toss

Your tears showed the land who’s boss

Don’t never want to come across,

Hurricane !

Hurricane came from your pain.

Let me buckle down or I could be the next one slain

Is it coming from your ocean?

Or is it rain?

Hailing Tornado strength winds

knocking down my window panes.

Water rising

Nowhere to go

Can’t swim a lick

It’s moving fast not slow

Can’t fathom dying

Hoping someone save me now

Gulping down more water than air

Can’t swim

Praying God show me how

Natural disaster

It’s natural to die.

Don’t know how long I can do this

Sinking into the abyss

When he showed up

My angel gave me a kiss.

On the other side

Now I see where the hurricane came from

Beauty beyond words

 Why Me !

I was living my life so lovely

Wasn’t ready

Thought God left me

Never!  No more hurricane

Belting on my window pane

Hurricane Taking my life

Now I’m slain

Heaven is what I gained.

Possibly Poetry Or Short Story 🙂

Undecided

It’s the act of not knowing

And thinking is a job

Concern in my face is truly showing

Sweat beads are dripping down in globs

I don’t know, I don’t know

A brain freeze , frozen solid

I hope the sun shine down on me

And thaw out what time did.

A Letter To Satan (Why Warfare? Part Two)

Keep your grummy mitts off me!

Move on with your pathetic soul.

You reminded me of nothing

I’m moving forward with my goals.

I dare you to intercede,

Impede on me indeed

My soul is a happy place

Nowhere near the dark flame

A new voice my body bleeds.

Signaling my smoke so the devil will choke on my bliss

You just mad because your face never graced God’s heavenly kiss

I carry his balm in my heart and it pumps eternity

We all know you ain’t got no sense

If you did you would leave me be.

Stay out the way.

My God and ancestors don’t play.

You’ll never have your way.

Living my brand new life eternally.

3 A.M. Revolution

I’m up before the birds

Morning dew on the grass

 Did it rain?

Could have,

Was the Almighty in pain?

One hundred zillion rain drops for one tear of the Almighty when slain.

3 A.M. gives clarity of what’s really going on.

I’m up breathing and my body is strong.

 Everything else is irrelevant

Doing me is how my days are spent.

It’s always a wrench in the plan of life

It won’t be long

Praying to be someone’s wife.

I hope he’s strong enough to carry my burdens and my cross.

I’m tired of it all.

Need a vacation from myself

I’m about to fall.

Lord, will you catch me if no one else comes to my aid?

In the morning light my problems will fade.

Back to darkness,

I stomp down and press it back to Hell.

Devil you’re ridiculous.

God will prevail in my life.

I hope my words cutts up your empty soul like a knife.

3  A.M. I see my prize right over the bend.

God wouldn’t bring me this far to let it crumble into ash.

Success is a pool and I want to make a big splash.

Cannon Ball! To the rescue

Here comes God to fight my war.

Devil your blind,

But, my God swore,

with thorns upon his head that you were dead.

3  A.M. and my soul is fed,

 with everlasting life,

my spirit has a light,

I may be short my soul is tall in height

Reaching for God on that mountain and cliffs in the sky.

Praying God himself to lift me.

Trying not to fry.

My God!

My God!

3 A.M. I’m talking to you on my knees.

Through my heart.

Your heart is pure.

A love song,

 Don’t get me to start

Your the ultimate poet and author

You are the guide.

Devil run and hide

My hearts is open wide

3 A.M as the sun rise

chirping of Blue Jays and Cardinals,

Life is beautiful a million ways

whoever says ,Good are the gloomy days

 they are special.

Pastor says pray

One day might be too late.

3  A.M. God is listening.

I know God will  remove all things bad and replace with all things good and bless what I already have.

Work too hard to lose everything.

I cleanse many times a day without taking a bath.

3 A.M. Can I get close to you, Lord?

Please heal me from all sin.

I know the war is brewing, but God is gonna win.

The devil has given in at 3 A.M.

Cascade of First -Aid

Trickle down from paradise

Heal my body of sugar

I need my feet and eyes

It’s not a surprise

Doctor of all ailments we despise

Trying to dodge all needles and knives

Wish I was a Sphnyx,

Nine lives

Purring to this Catnip Tea

Trying to get rid of this Anxiety

Up all Night

Insomnia I’ll be

That workaholic to the third degree

Burns the tongue

My first-aid full of herbs

Some herbs good for lungs

My First-Aid come from the Earth

From which Mother Nature has given birth

For all my balms heals my flesh from dirt.
