There are many ways you can start a WIP. I come up with the name of the WIP first. Then I start thinking about diffrent colorful characters. But coming up with characters making profiles of characters and putting them in scenarios and giving them a personality with dialogue is key. Come up with 5 main characters. give them some depth add conflicts and goals. You can start your WIP anyway you like. and can have However many you want. When you’ve finished with the Profiles and have the titles and charcters names and gave them personalities. Start on a whole brand new WIP and do the same thing for that WIP. do that for as long as you want then look at them and see which ones you would like to start and finish Now you have a stash of go to WIPS you can work on. Maybe even a Series. But just Vomit, Go Wild and Pump out some great Content.
